Chicony Power announces record revenue, profits, dividend, ROE for three consecutive years. 2021 EPS was NT$7.22.
Chicony Power Technology Co., Ltd. (6412.TW) today announced its financial results for fiscal 2021. Consolidated revenues reached NT$40,364 million, up 15.8% YoY. Gross margin was 17.7%, the second highest in history. Operating margin was 8.5%, up 0.4ppt compared to the previous year. Consolidated gross profit rose to NT$7,139 million, an 11.2% YoY increase. Consolidated operating profit grew 22.1% YoY to NT$3,451 million. Net profits attributable to owners of the parent was NT$2,827 million, up 32.3% YoY, with a basic EPS of NT$7.22, up 30.8% YoY. Return on equity (ROE) ratio reached 27.4%. Thanks to the improved product mix and operational efficiency, Chicony Power had a strong finish to 2021 and reported record-breaking consolidated annual revenues, gross profits, operating profits, net profits, EPS, operating margin, net margin, and ROE ratio.
In addition, Chicony Power’s Board of Directors today resolved to propose a record-high cash dividend of NT$5.20 per share for 2021. Dividend payout ratio reached 72%. For the past 9 years, the company’s dividend payout ratio has consistently exceeded 70%.
Chicony Power also announced unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$3,002 million, up 6.3% YoY, for February 2021, hitting record high for the same period. For the first two months, accumulated revenues also reached new high and totaled NT$6,626 million, up 2.8 % YoY.
