Chicony Power Technology Co., Ltd. (“Chicony Power”) (TWSE:6412) today announced that it has received a social guarantee, approved by HSBC Bank (Taiwan), with a total amount NT$170 million to support its awarding of the Qingfeng Social Housing Project located in Nanzi District, Kaohsiung City. Qingfeng Project is one of the largest social housing projects launched by the National Housing and Urban Regeneration Center (HURC) of Taiwan. In this project, Chicony Power will act as the responsible team for the planning and implementation of Smart Green Building field. Of note, this letter of guarantee will be the first social guarantee approved by HSBC Bank (Taiwan).

Peter Tseng, the president of Chicony Power, emphasized that the right to an adequate standard of living is a fundamental human right. “We are happy to receive the social guarantee from HSBC Bank (Taiwan). Chicony Power’s long-term commitment is not only to exert our value on the industry side but to do our best to promote the positive social and environmental impacts” We anticipate to help build the Qingfeng Project as the new smart green landmark of the Social Housing.
